Dental Health

Healthy Teeth and Gums

Healthy teeth and gums are free of cavities, plaque build-up, inflammation and infection. Brushing and flossing your teeth properly can help prevent gum disease and tooth decay. Dental disease can lead to inflammation, infection, damage to bone or nerve and tooth loss. Untreated infections can even spread to other parts of your body.

Oral Hygiene

The good news is that dental disease is preventable. Brushing your teeth twice a day for at least 2 minutes and flossing between your teeth once a day are good oral hygiene habits. Eat a balanced diet, limit in-between meal sugary snacks and see your dentist regularly.

Boost Your Oral Care Routine

Did you know an apple a day can help keep the dentist away too? Apples (and celery) are rich in water and scrub your teeth and gums so that plaque can't form.

Green tea is a natural anti-bacterial. Kiwis and strawberries have the highest concentrations of Vitamin C and eachinacea and olive leaf are gum friendly herbs.

If you're interested in adding an alcohol-free mouthwash to your routine, try Periowash. It contains natural herbs and essential oils to promote healthy gums.
